Job Summary

 

A CCTV Officer is responsible for monitoring and managing surveillance systems to ensure security and safety in various environments, such as corporate buildings, public spaces, or critical infrastructure. The primary role involves overseeing video feeds from multiple cameras, analyzing footage for any suspicious activity, and responding to security incidents as they arise. The officer ensures that surveillance operations run smoothly, maintains detailed records of observations and incidents, and collaborates with other security personnel and law enforcement when necessary.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

As CCTV Officer you are responsible to:

1.     Hard Disk Replacement under supervision of Line Manager.

2.     Perform CCTV cabling, camera installation, sound system installation.

3.     Ensure stock of CCTV is maintained and recorded.

4.     Monitor smooth operation of DVRs/NVRs and record incidences, issues.

5.     Monitor (Recording, Sound, Motion Detection, Night Vision, RAID) of DVRs/NVRs

6.     Maintain forms for Playback, Backup, HD Replacement.

7.     Maintain and document IP addressing for DVRs/NVRs and IP Cameras.

8.     Record daily issues in Case management system or log sheet.

9.     Ensure daily activities are compliant to IT Policies and Procedures.

10.  Support delivery to Department and Branches related to CCTV.

11.  Review logs of DVRs/NVRs, record and report suspicious activities.

12.  Daily report status of Cameras, HDs and Sound Systems to Line Manager.

13.  Collect reports from Branches regarding smooth operation of Branch CCTV Infra.

14.  Maintain and store passwords in complex format and totally confidential and restricted from unauthorized access.

15.  Never to perform any major activity without informing and approval of Line Manager and analyzing possible affects and risks.

16.  Being fully aware of Policy and Procedures of IT and make sure it is being followed in daily operation by System section staff.

To attend to any other matter that may not have been mentioned in this document but advised by IT manager.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science.

• Professional training or certificates in (SQL and OCA).

• At least 2-3 years of related experience in CBS & IT Department in the Bank.

Skill:

· Technical proficiency with CCTV systems and related technology.

· Strong observational and analytical skills.

· Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Familiarity with security protocols and legal regulations.

· Experience in incident reporting and documentation.

· Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

8. Reporting from progress of sales in an ongoing process.

9.  Visiting of new customer on daily basis.

10. Attending to the events, conferences with the prior approval of line manager.

11. Build a strong networking with the businessmen in the area.

12. Maintaining and retaining the existing customers of the branch.

13. Identifying sales opportunities in the market.

14. Acting as a key contact for large customer accounts.

15. Providing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly report to the line manager.

16. Making the brand image of GB in the related branch area.

17. Monitoring customer’s transaction closely for purpose of customer retention.

18. Seeking customers need and satisfactions from GB services.

19. Growing banks number of accounts.

20. Marketing branch within the community to attract business.

21. Managing and oversees all banking policies, procedures and process.

22. Any other responsibility which will be assign by line manager.

23. Must manage the internal controls of the Branch properly and in line with the policies and procedures of the Bank.

24. To ensure that all the Bank Operational and other related Manuals and circulars are strictly followed.

25. To ensure that all the directives with regards to Anti Money Laundering are strictly observed and reporting about suspicious and large transactions is made to the respective department timely and accurately.

26. To ensure that Key Registers for the Vault and Safe Keys are properly maintained and updated.

 

27. Must ensure that the Branch always remain complied to all the rules, regulations, instructions and guidelines provided by the management through CEO, COO or Compliance Department. Must also ensure that all the required statements/returns from the Branch are submitted to the concerned departments accurately and within the given time frame.
