Lightman

Job Summary

We are looking for a Lightman to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate in consultation with producers to determine lighting needs, apply technical knowledge to achieve artistic objectives, and monitor light quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operating within current health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.

• Light technicians able to work anywhere from a desert to a city street. For most films and television shows and be able to work in trussing.

• Consulting with producers and performers to determine the light requirements.

• Applying technical knowledge of light equipment to achieve and determined artistic objective

• Monitoring light temperature to detect light quality.

Anticipating, fixing any problems in the shows and on other locations.

• Should know how to make power extension cables etc...

• Make sure the entire equipment's work well before taking it to projects.

• Know how to diagnostic electrical problems.

• Check and make sure all the equipment's should be fine when its return from project.

• Responsible of lighting equipment's, Set Up in studies.

• Work hard and increase your knowledge in light sections.

• Lighting technicians must be prepared to work under a variety of conditions.

• Working according to light Department Schedule and production management projects.

• Working as a light man in provinces with the team if need it.

Job Requirements

Graduated from class 14 of Mechanic School, especially from the Radio TV department

Excellent color vision.
