Job Summary: Sales Agent

The Sales Agent is responsible for promoting and selling Boustan products such as tomato paste, juice, and other items within their assigned territory. The Sales Agent must achieve sales targets, manage sales reporting, and maintain records of each transaction. This role also involves following up with retailers and wholesalers for cash collection and ensuring compliance with company sales instructions.


Duties & Responsibilities

1. Sales of Boustan Products

  • Sell Boustan products, including tomato paste, juice, and other offerings, to wholesalers and retailers within the assigned territory.
  • Actively work to meet and exceed sales targets set by the Sales Agents Supervisor.

2. Daily Sales Reporting

  • Submit daily sales reports to the Sales Agents Supervisor, detailing all sales made.
  • Clear daily sales reports with the Finance department to ensure accurate recording of sales and payments.

3. Sales Record Keeping

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales made, ensuring proper documentation of each transaction.
  • Ensure compliance with sales instructions provided by the Sales Agents Supervisor, maintaining organized records for each sale.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Follow up with retailers and wholesalers to ensure timely cash collection.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Provide after-sales support to address any concerns or inquiries from customers.

5. Market Exploration & Reporting

  • Report market feedback, competitor activities, and customer preferences to the Sales Agents Supervisor.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion within the assigned territory and provide suggestions to the sales team.

6. Compliance with Company Policies

  • Adhere to Boustan’s sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
  • Ensure that all transactions comply with company guidelines and local regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in business or marketing are a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with the local market and customer base is an advantage.
