Job Summary
The Ministry of Education of Afghanistan is seeking to hire qualified candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities
To attract qualified academic personnel, fill vacant positions, and improve the implementation of teacher training and professional development programs, the Ministry of Education plans to announce 718 vacant positions for teacher training and professional development teams in the provinces for the year 1404-1447.
Job Requirements
Eligibility Criteria for the Competitive Exam:
1. Educational Qualification: A minimum of a bachelor's degree from recognized universities, with a master's degree preferred.
2. International Degrees: Educational credentials from private universities abroad will be accepted only if the university is officially accredited in the respective country and the Ministry of Higher Education of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has evaluated and approved the documents.
3. Undergraduate Performance: Candidates must have at least 75% average marks during their bachelor's degree studies, with pedagogical standards met, and no more than one subject failure. For graduates from foreign universities, if the required percentage is not met, the candidate must have an average grade equivalent to Grade B or higher according to the standards of the respective country.
4. Master’s Degree Performance: Candidates must have at least 70% average marks during their master's degree studies or equivalent, with no failures. For graduates from foreign universities, if the required percentage is not met, the average must also be equivalent to Grade B or higher according to the standards of the respective country.
5. Age Limit: Candidates must possess a national identity card and must not exceed 30 years of age for bachelor's degree holders and 35 years for master's degree holders.
6. Relevant Field of Study: The candidate's field of study must be related to the vacant position requirements.
Submission Guidelines
Qualified applicants for the positions must submit their original transcripts in national languages, national identity card, and application form to the Teacher Training and Professional Development Directorate, located in Karte Char, opposite the Ministry of Higher Education, Kabul, Afghanistan, within 10 days of the announcement. The exam will be conducted immediately thereafter.
