Job Summary

Ghazanfar Bank is seeking an IT Audit Officer to enhance the protection of internal controls and sensitive data within its technology systems. The successful candidate will identify vulnerabilities in the network, develop strategies to mitigate security risks, and ensure compliance with established policies.

Duties & Responsibilities

As an IT Audit Officer, you will be responsible for:

1.      Infrastructure Development:

    • Collaborate with clients to establish robust IT infrastructure and implement network security policies and procedures.

2.      Audit Compliance:

    • Review external IT audit and inspection reports, ensuring all recommendations are implemented.

3.      ATM Surveillance:

    • Conduct surprise checks on ATM machines two to three times a month.

4.      Disaster Recovery (DR) Management:

    • Manage and address issues related to the DR site and server operations.

5.      Network Management:

    • Monitor network firewalls, identify gaps, configure devices, ensure branch connectivity, and oversee network security and monitoring software.

6.      System Administration:

    • Manage bank official email domains, monitor user access, and oversee servers, applications, printers, scanners, copiers, and helpdesk services.

7.      CCTV Monitoring:

    • Oversee the recording and backup of CCTV footage, including video and audio systems.

8.      DR Site Testing:

    • Ensure regular testing of the DR site and report any deviations immediately.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
  • Certifications: Professional training or certifications in IT and audit-related fields are a plus.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in Audit and IT within a banking environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development, Windows, database management, networking, and Oracle.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Knowledge of information security standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations.

Skills:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, effective with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Expert knowledge in internal auditing, internal controls, risk management, and finance/accounting practices.
  • Comprehensive understanding of internal control environments within IT.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Proactive, hands-on, results-driven approach.
  • Attention to detail while maintaining strategic direction in a dynamic business environment.
  • Fluency in Dari, Pashto, and English.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

1.Seek opportunities for the branch business development within the related area.

2.  Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.

3.Responsible for heading up the expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients.

4.  Building relationship with existing clients in an attempt to increase their current spend.

5. Driving peak performance and sales success across the branch area.

6. Ensuring all administration for sales is completed effectively.

7.  Achieving approved business targets related to branch for the financial year.

8. Reporting from progress of sales in an ongoing process.

9.  Visiting of new customer on daily basis.

10. Attending to the events, conferences with the prior approval of line manager.

11. Build a strong networking with the businessmen in the area.

12. Maintaining and retaining the existing customers of the branch.

13. Identifying sales opportunities in the market.

14. Acting as a key contact for large customer accounts.

15. Providing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly report to the line manager.

16. Making the brand image of GB in the related branch area.

17. Monitoring customer’s transaction closely for purpose of customer retention.

18. Seeking customers need and satisfactions from GB services.

19. Growing banks number of accounts.

20. Marketing branch within the community to attract business.

21. Managing and oversees all banking policies, procedures and process.

22. Any other responsibility which will be assign by line manager.

23. Must manage the internal controls of the Branch properly and in line with the policies and procedures of the Bank.

24. To ensure that all the Bank Operational and other related Manuals and circulars are strictly followed.

25. To ensure that all the directives with regards to Anti Money Laundering are strictly observed and reporting about suspicious and large transactions is made to the respective department timely and accurately.

26. To ensure that Key Registers for the Vault and Safe Keys are properly maintained and updated.

 

27. Must ensure that the Branch always remain complied to all the rules, regulations, instructions and guidelines provided by the management through CEO, COO or Compliance Department. Must also ensure that all the required statements/returns from the Branch are submitted to the concerned departments accurately and within the given time frame.
