Job Summary:
The Manager of Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, and Code of Conduct is responsible for safeguarding the organization's integrity by creating, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive policies and procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of the organization and a keen awareness of the regulatory landscape.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Policy Development and Implementation:
- Lead the development, implementation, and operationalization of strong policies and procedures to prevent and detect organizational bribery and corruption.
- Ensure that anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct policies remain relevant and effective.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Monitor and assess the organization's adherence to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct policies, and address areas for improvement.
- Evaluate third-party compliance, including suppliers, to maintain the highest ethical standards.
Training and Guidance:
- Provide guidance and conduct training sessions for employees on anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct issues, policies, and procedures.
Monitoring and Testing:
- Conduct regular monitoring and testing activities to ensure continuous compliance with anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies.
Stakeholder Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with departments in direct contact with regulators.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct.
Risk Mitigation:
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively mitigate anti-bribery and anti-corruption risks.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration and compliance with anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct policies and procedures.
Gifts, Entertainment & Hospitality:
- Oversee the implementation of the Gift, Entertainment & Hospitality policy throughout the organization.
Investigations and Response:
- Investigate and address complaints and concerns related to anti-bribery and anti-corruption issues if required.
Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct-related matters for senior management.
Code of Conduct Development:
- Develop, implement, and operationalize the organization's Code of Conduct, ensuring alignment with ethical standards.
Ad-hoc Duties:
- Undertake any other duty as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Preference is given to female candidates.
- Creative, innovative, and bring initiative to what they do.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus, e.g., CFE.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and Code of Conduct policies.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and a keen understanding of organizational operations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
