Job Summary

We are seeking a creative Mechanical Engineer with strong Mechatronics skills to contribute to all product stages, from research and development to design, manufacture, installation, and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate innovative mechanical components that integrate seamlessly with electronic and control systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Product Development: Lead the complete product development lifecycle, including design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and deployment.
• System Design: Design and develop systems and components that meet specified needs and performance criteria, incorporating mechatronic principles.
• Analysis and Simulation: Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure mechanical systems meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
• CAD/CAM/CAE Utilization: Utilize CAD/CAM/CAE software to create detailed drawings, specifications, designs, and models, considering manufacturability, assembly, and maintenance.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with electrical, electronic, software, and other engineering disciplines to integrate multidisciplinary systems.
• Materials Evaluation: Evaluate materials and select appropriate components for mechanical systems based on performance, durability, and cost.
• Technical Documentation: Generate technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, design concepts, sketches, reports, and test plans.
• Experimental Analysis: Conduct systematic experiments, analyze data, and derive insights considering both mechanical and electronic aspects.
• Design Testing: Test and assess theoretical designs to ensure feasibility and efficiency across mechanical and mechatronic domains.
• Innovation and Troubleshooting: Innovate and troubleshoot to develop effective solutions for emerging challenges, leveraging interdisciplinary knowledge.
• Design Adaptation: Adapt and refine designs as necessary to address requirements and resolve issues with a holistic approach.
• Budget and Scope Estimation: Estimate project budgets and scopes accurately, considering both mechanical and electronic components.
• Product Reporting: Prepare comprehensive product reports and documentation detailing mechanical and mechatronic design aspects.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, engage in continuous learning, and pioneer new methodologies in mechatronics and mechanical engineering.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in mechanical engineering roles, with a focus on product development and design.
• Mechatronics Proficiency: Strong proficiency in mechatronics principles, with a track record of integrating mechanical and electronic systems effectively.
• Engineering Tools: Proficiency in product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
• CAD/CAM Proficiency: Proficient in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX, CATIA).
• Mathematical Computing Skills: Strong skills using tools such as MathCAD, MATLAB, Python, Excel, LabView, etc.
• Core Engineering Understanding: Sound understanding of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to conduct experiments, analyze data, and interpret results methodically.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills to generate innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Industry Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering (e.g., ASME, ISO).
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning, with the ability to develop new theories or methods to enhance product development.
