Job Summary

The maintenance technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment throughout the industrial plant(s) is operating safely and at peak efficiency. This includes all blow molding, ejection molding equipment, Shrink wrappers, labeler, compressors, product preparation systems, packaging lines conveyors, and associated equipment. The Maintenance Technician will ensure compliance with all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety standards. Will work closely with line supervisors and other team leaders from various departments on work requests; PM’s or projects in the plant. Able to work on shifts which include night shift. Train other technicians and operators on the proper operation of machinery

Duties & Responsibilities

1.    The Maintenance Technician must support all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic needs for the industrial operation. 

2.    To dismantle and assemble and fix pumps, gearboxes properly, valves and further mechanical equipment.

3.    Solid mechanical background is required with knowledge of electrical,

4.    Assisting the mechanical engineer with mechanical design and maintenance tasks.

5.    Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.

6.    Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.

7.    Checking equipment and operating systems on a regular basis.

8.    Ensuring machinery is at optimum performance.

9.    Prepare required spare parts for machines and equipment.

Job Requirements

·        14th Class graduates

·        Diploma in electrical engineering from a reputable Technical College.

·        Be able to speak English and local languages.

·        At least 2 years of professional experience in this field.

·        Working experience with any NGOs, big production companies

·        Computer skill is an advantage.

·        Respectable in a multi-cultural environment.

· Working in different shift change might require as (A-B-C)
