Media Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a Media Manager with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, the Media Manager should demonstrate creativity and initiative in shaping the organization’s image and values through appropriate external communication. The role involves developing and implementing targeted content across various media platforms, as well as researching, writing, proofreading, and editing all media content to execute public relations and communications plans.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Write and publish creative blog posts or devotional pieces as directed by the Business Development Head.
2. Create informative articles about recent bank projects for the website.
3. Capture and edit photos that depict GB projects, programs, and events.
4. Design and maintain the GB website as needed.
5. Edit advertisements to ensure quality and consistency.
6. Maintain both hard and soft copies of audio-visual printed publications.
7. Keep organized records of contracts in both hard and soft copies.
8. Control media costs within approved budgets, monitor contract durations, and ensure relevant taxes are paid.
9. Design graphics for various marketing needs and social media posts.
10. Manage and post content on all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn) to engage specific audiences and interact with followers in a timely and courteous manner.
11. Design and produce all major and minor print publications, such as newsletters, catalogs, calendars, and brochures, according to the publication calendar and as needed.
12. Create other marketing materials, including apparel, event banners, and online advertisements (such as Facebook ads and customized landing pages).
13. Collaborate with staff and supervisors to brainstorm and develop new media engagement opportunities.
14. Appropriately manage the organization’s media budget.
15. Develop engaging content in English, Dari, and Pashto.
16. Design the official bank magazine periodically.
17. Install, monitor, and report on bank advertisements in billboards.
18. Understand client expectations and liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction.
19. Identify press opportunities based on evolving issues.
20. Stay updated on the latest media trends by scanning the media marketplace.
21. Negotiate competitive deals with media channels.
22. Ensure all advertisement contracts (TV, radio, billboards, etc.) are current.
23. Ensure all printed materials meet quality and standard requirements.
24. Monitor and track all audio-visual printed advertisements based on contracts.
25. Attend to any other matters as advised by the Head of Department.
Job Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, or a related field (essential). A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
· Experience: At least 2-3 years of professional experience in media or similar fields.
Skills:
1. Fluency in English, Dari, and Pashto, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Proven experience in building effective media campaigns.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
4. Negotiation skills.
5. Ability to create appropriate content for dissemination via press releases and social media.
6. Ability to nurture long-term relationships with key media influencers.
7. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
8. Strong decision-making skills.
9. Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research abilities.
10. Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Duties & Responsibilities
1.Seek opportunities for the branch business development within the related area.
2. Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
3.Responsible for heading up the expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients.
4. Building relationship with existing clients in an attempt to increase their current spend.
5. Driving peak performance and sales success across the branch area.
6. Ensuring all administration for sales is completed effectively.
7. Achieving approved business targets related to branch for the financial year.
8. Reporting from progress of sales in an ongoing process.
9. Visiting of new customer on daily basis.
10. Attending to the events, conferences with the prior approval of line manager.
11. Build a strong networking with the businessmen in the area.
12. Maintaining and retaining the existing customers of the branch.
13. Identifying sales opportunities in the market.
14. Acting as a key contact for large customer accounts.
15. Providing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly report to the line manager.
16. Making the brand image of GB in the related branch area.
17. Monitoring customer’s transaction closely for purpose of customer retention.
18. Seeking customers need and satisfactions from GB services.
19. Growing banks number of accounts.
20. Marketing branch within the community to attract business.
21. Managing and oversees all banking policies, procedures and process.
22. Any other responsibility which will be assign by line manager.
23. Must manage the internal controls of the Branch properly and in line with the policies and procedures of the Bank.
24. To ensure that all the Bank Operational and other related Manuals and circulars are strictly followed.
25. To ensure that all the directives with regards to Anti Money Laundering are strictly observed and reporting about suspicious and large transactions is made to the respective department timely and accurately.
26. To ensure that Key Registers for the Vault and Safe Keys are properly maintained and updated.
27. Must ensure that the Branch always remain complied to all the rules, regulations, instructions and guidelines provided by the management through CEO, COO or Compliance Department. Must also ensure that all the required statements/returns from the Branch are submitted to the concerned departments accurately and within the given time frame.
