Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance network connectivity to support our business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

·       Design, install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity.

·       Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime.

·       Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

·       Implement network security measures, including VPNs, firewalls, and access controls.

·       Perform network upgrades, patches, and capacity planning.

·       Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

·       Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

·       Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and service providers.

·       Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·       2-3 years of proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.

·       Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.

·       Hands-on experience with Cisco, MikroTik, or similar networking equipment.

·       Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

·       Understanding of network security principles and protocols.

·       Knowledge of wireless technologies and network cabling.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

·       CCNA / CCNP or equivalent certifications are a plus.

·       Knowledge of server-side administration and deployment (Windows Server, Linux).

·       Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Soft Skills:

·       Excellent communication and documentation skills.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.

·       Willingness to work on-call or outside normal business hours if required.
