Job Summary: Physiotherapy Supervisor
The Physiotherapy Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the physiotherapy department, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care. They collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement treatment plans while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and policies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess patient physical capacities to set treatment objectives and improve health and wellbeing.
- Develop and implement physiotherapy programs, including exercises, manipulations, and patient education.
- Train patients and caregivers on injury prevention to promote safe behaviors.
- Monitor and report physiotherapy activities, ensuring accurate documentation of patient files and statistics.
- Manage physiotherapy equipment, including stock management and cleaning.
- Report any issues or incidents to the line manager.
- Organize and coordinate team activities, including scheduling and training needs.
- Participate in monthly reports according to guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma (12th grade) essential; university degree desirable.
- Certification: Physiotherapist certification essential.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in similar positions.
- Languages: Proficiency in Dari/Pashto and English (oral and written).
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant skills.
