Job Summary

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Proposal Writer” with at least 10 years of experience in proposal development, project estimation, and cost analysis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing competitive project proposals and ensuring accurate cost estimations for our construction projects.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and write detailed project proposals and tender documents for construction projects. 
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for project bids and ensure accuracy. 
  • Analyze project “RFP” requirements, Statement of Work, technical specifications, Design Drawings and client needs to formulate proposals. 
  • Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to gather necessary information for proposals. 
  • Review project designs, specifications, and drawings for accurate estimation. 
  • Perform risk analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization. 
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements in “for the” proposal submissions “and Evaluation criteria”. 
  • Participate “in the Pre-bid” review meetings and client negotiations. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of construction industry trends and best practices.
  • Tracking the RFP’s, Proposal preparation, Proposal Submission, and Consequence.
  • Understand and prepare local and international construction methodology.  

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, and Construction Management, or a related field Master Degree “referred”. 
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in proposal writing and cost estimation in the construction sector. 
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, P6 Primavera, SAP, STBS, GES and related programs. “Preferred”)  
  • Knowledge of the UNGM website and UN Agencies' procurement procedures, including   how to download”/Upload” tenders and prepare proposals according to their requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages. 
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fixability in Traveling to Provinces or any site offices
  • knowledge of preparing invoices and maintaining the accurate measurement during or completion of project
  • preparing of project progress and preparation of invoices.
  • Estimation of invoices,
  • Organize Regular Meeting with Donors (UN).
  • Knowledge of high-quality construction materials names and company name.
