Job Summary
At Islamic Relief Worldwide Afghanistan, we are dedicated to empowering young talents by providing them with the tools and opportunities for professional advancement. Our program under the HELP Project Youth Component focuses on hiring and developing young graduates, equipping them with essential skills for success across various departments and enhancing their employability in the local job market.
Key Objectives:
- Provide real-world work experience to develop technical expertise and interpersonal skills.
- Promote personal growth by encouraging youth to embrace new challenges and responsibilities.
- Prepare young people for full-time employment by familiarizing them with workplace standards and professional ethics.
- Equip youth with marketable skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Learn and support the development and implementation of protection strategies and interventions.
- Provide protection support to the program and Integrated Protection during daily implementation.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining an organized filing system.
- Help update service mapping forms and keep them current.
- Follow the data protection policy for all registered cases.
- Securely fill protection documents and submit timesheets to the HR department.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns on human rights and protection issues.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and community members to enhance psychosocial awareness and responses.
- Maintain updated records of all protection data in both soft and hard formats.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, case management, and report preparation.
- Assist the Protection team in preparing compliance documents as needed.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Fresh graduates with a bachelor’s degree in Law, Sharia, Political Science, International Relations, Human Rights, or a related field.
Experience:
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
