Job Summary
Kabul Skyscraper Services (KSS) is hiring for the position of Regional Team Leader (RTL). This role involves planning and implementing regional sales strategies, monitoring sales trends, and ensuring effective coordination of sales activities to enhance brand visibility and profitability.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Implementation
- Plan and implement the regional sales strategy.
- Monitor and analyze sales trends to identify new prospects and opportunities.
- Coordinate regional sales activities, ensuring synergy within and outside the department.
Brand Promotion
- Promote MTN MoMo brand visibility in the region using available resources.
- Ensure effective distribution and usage of brand items and signage to dealers.
- Liaise with Marketing to organize events and promotions to enhance brand awareness.
Dealer Management
- Manage growth and profitability of the dealer community within the region.
- Ensure dealership targets are met and necessary training is provided to maximize sales.
- Provide inputs into sales forecasting regarding reforecast and allocation.
Stock and Service Management
- Ensure correct stock distribution among Master Agents and Agents.
- Maintain optimum service levels and provide communication links between MTN and Master Agents.
- Oversee an updated database of retail participants and monitor integrity.
Training & Development
- Equip retail participants with knowledge of MTN products for seamless consumer interactions.
- Initiate trade promotional activities to achieve push and pull effects.
- Implement channel reward and recognition initiatives.
Team Management
- Anticipate staff needs, schedule personnel, and assign work accordingly.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to maintain high staff motivation.
- Identify training and development needs and implement necessary actions.
Performance Management
- Maintain daily objectives and ensure timely achievement of work goals.
- Promote productivity and safety through effective training and feedback.
- Recruit brand ambassadors as needed.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
Essentials
- Fluency in local languages (Dari and Pashto) and good command of English (both written and oral).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Strong communication skills and understanding of market dynamics.
- Flexibility to work under varying conditions, including shift rotations.
- Afghan nationality is required.

- Capacity to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong business planning, conflict management, and customer focus skills.
