Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Risk Assistant to support the company’s risk assessment and data-driven decision-making processes. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks while leveraging data analytics to provide valuable insights for business operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data for risk evaluation and compliance monitoring.

Duties & Responsibilities

Risk Management & Compliance

• Identify potential operational, financial, and compliance risks within the organization.
• Assist in conducting risk assessments, preparing reports, and suggesting risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure risk policies align with legal standards.
• Develop early warning indicators for risk detection and prevention.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, analyze, and interpret risk-related data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain risk dashboards, reports, and predictive models for data-driven decision-making.
• Assist in automating risk monitoring processes through data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Perform statistical and scenario analysis to evaluate risk impact.

Process Improvement & Strategy Support

• Collaborate with different departments to ensure data-driven risk management strategies are effectively implemented.
• Assist in creating policies and frameworks to improve risk identification and mitigation.
• Support the company in conducting stress tests and scenario planning to prepare for potential risks.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all business operations.

Incident Tracking & Risk Mitigation

• Maintain a risk incident log and track recurring issues to develop preventive measures.
• Support internal audits and compliance checks by providing accurate risk data and reports.
• Ensure all risk controls and mitigation measures are regularly reviewed and updated.

Key Competencies & Skills

• Risk Assessment & Compliance: Ability to identify and evaluate risks while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Data Analytics & Visualization: Experience in handling large datasets and using analytical tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills to assess risk exposure and recommend solutions.
• Communication & Reporting: Ability to present complex risk data and findings clearly and concisely.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns in risk-related data.
• Process Improvement: Knowledge of internal controls, auditing, and business continuity planning.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in risk analysis, data analytics, or compliance roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data analysis tools is preferred.
• Certifications (Preferred): Risk Management Certification (e.g., FRM, CRM, PRM), Data Analytics Certification (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
