Job Description: Content Creator


Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, digital media, and innovative content strategies. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging and high-quality content across various platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, and marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop concepts that resonate with our audience and drive brand awareness.


Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Content Writing:

    • Create high-quality written content in English and Dari, including feature articles, interviews, editorials, and creative pieces.
    • Adapt content for specific audience preferences, maintaining a professional and engaging tone.
    • Develop content ideas that align with the magazine’s themes and target audience.
    • Write clear, concise, and reader-friendly articles that captivate and inform readers.
    • Produce additional content in English and Dari as needed, maintaining cultural and linguistic relevance.

2.      Content Editing:

    • Review and edit all written materials for grammar, punctuation, style, and clarity.
    • Ensure all content adheres to the magazine’s tone, brand guidelines, and editorial standards.
    • Provide constructive feedback to contributors and collaborate with them to refine submissions.
    • Perform fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility of all published materials.
    • Work closely with the design team to ensure seamless integration of written content with visual elements.

3.      Research:

    • Conduct in-depth research to gather accurate information for articles and features.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, travel, and lifestyle topics to create relevant and timely content.

4.      Language Proficiency:

    • Write fluently and professionally in English and Dari, with additional contributions in Pashto where required.

5.      Interviews:

    • Coordinate and conduct interviews with key individuals or organizations featured in the magazine.

6.      Collaboration:

    • Work with the editorial and design teams to ensure cohesive and visually appealing layouts.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback for content development.

7.      Creativity:

    • Develop innovative ideas for stories, themes, and sections that resonate with readers.

8.      Deadlines:

    • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

9.      Trends:

    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the content remains fresh and relevant.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a content creator, writer, or journalist (experience with magazines is strongly preferred).
  3. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  4. Strong storytelling ability and a flair for engaging readers.
  5. Familiarity with working with economic & business magazines is highly desirable.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and content management tools.
  7. Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
