About Ariana Radio & Television Network (ATN):

Ariana Television Network (ATN) is a private television and radio network based in Kabul, Afghanistan. ATN was launched in 2005 by Dr. Ehsanullah Bayat and is the largest media network in Afghanistan reaching all the 34 provinces in Afghanistan. ATN’s focus is on information, content, and entertainment that rekindles Afghanistan’s traditions and culture. ATN prides itself on providing easily accessible educational, Islamic, health, sports, and children's programming to all citizens of Afghanistan. We take great pride in broadcasting accurate, unbiased news to the audience in real-time. Job Summary

Is responsible for creating, producing, and overseeing the production of documentary content for broadcast. This role involves researching and developing documentary ideas.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Researching and developing documentary ideas and concepts.
2. Collaborating with a team to plan and execute the production process.
3. Conducting interviews and gathering footage for the documentary.
4. Overseeing the editing and post-production process.
5. Ensuring that the documentary meets the company's quality and ethical standards.
6. Managing budgets and resources effectively.
7. Building and maintaining relationships with external partners. contributors, and talent.
8. Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments.
9. Contributing to the overall creative vision and direction of the company's documentary content.
10. Worked as a reporter for the Ariana News when asked by the line manager.

Job Requirements

Should have a strong understanding of documentary production processes, and storytelling techniques, and a passion for creating compelling and impactful content. Should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a keen eye for detail. Additionally, experience in TV production, journalism, or filmmaking is typically required for this role.
