1. What is ElectroSign?
ElectroSign is a robust, web based digital signature solution built on the .NET framework. It allows individuals and organizations to sign documents digitally in a legally binding manner, completely eliminating the need for physical printing, signing, scanning, and couriering.
2. Key Features
Legally Compliant Signatures: Produces digital signatures that adhere to international standards and local regulatory requirements.
Multilayer Authentication: Users can sign in using email OTP, SMS code, or a secure PIN.
Audit Trail: Automatically generates a complete, tamperproof record of the signing process, including IP addresses, timestamps, and each action taken by all parties.
Template Library: Save and reuse frequently signed document templates (e.g., employment contracts, NDAs, service agreements).
Role Based Signing Order: Define a specific sequence for multiple signatories (e.g., Employee > Manager > HR Director).
Reminders & Notifications: Automated email and SMS reminders to keep the signing process on track.
Secure Cloud Storage: All signed documents are encrypted and stored securely for easy future access and download.

Step-by-step Breakdown:
Step 1: Document Preparation (Sender)
Action: The sender logs into the ElectroSign portal and uploads a PDF, Word, or other common document format.
Action: The sender drags and drops signature fields, date fields, and initial fields onto the document for all required parties.
Action: The sender enters the email addresses and/or phone numbers of the signers and sets the signing order (if sequential is required).
Step 2: Send for Signature (System)
Action: ElectroSign automatically sends a personalized email and/or SMS to the first signer in the sequence. The message contains a secure, unique link to the document.
Step 3: Signer Authentication (Signer)
Action: The signer clicks the link, which opens the document in the ElectroSign signing portal.
Action: To verify their identity, the signer must complete an authentication step. This could be:
Entering a Onetime Password (OTP) sent to their email.
Entering a code sent via SMS to their mobile phone.
Entering a reagreed PIN.
Step 4: Review & Sign (Signer)
Action: The signer reviews the document. They are guided to the designated signature fields.
Action: The signer applies their signature by:
Typing their name and choosing a font style.
Drawing their signature with a mouse or finger.
Uploading an image of their signature.
Action: Once satisfied, the signer clicks "Sign" or "Confirm."
Step 5: Completion & Storage (System)
Action: ElectroSign cryptographically seals the document, applies a final timestamp, and generates a comprehensive Certificate of Completion and Audit Trail.
Action: The system automatically notifies all other parties (including the original sender) that the document has been fully executed and is ready for download.
Action: The final, signed PDF (with the audit trail attached) is securely stored in the encrypted cloud database of all parties involved.
