In response to the increasing demand for robust and reliable network connectivity and enhanced security monitoring, our team successfully completed the deployment of a comprehensive network infrastructure. The project was aimed at upgrading the existing network to support higher bandwidth requirements, improve wireless coverage, and enhance surveillance capabilities throughout the facility.
The scope of the project involved the installation of:
70 Wireless Access Points (APs)
10 Cisco Switches
2 MikroTik (MKT) devices
1 Cisco Router dedicated to PFX
Approximately 150 Surveillance Cameras
This deployment ensures seamless connectivity, optimized network performance, and robust security monitoring to meet the organization’s current and future needs.
Enhance Wireless Coverage: Deploy 70 strategically placed Access Points to ensure full wireless coverage across the entire facility, eliminating dead zones and improving user experience.
Upgrade Wired Network: Install 10 Cisco switches to facilitate high-speed wired connections, support network segmentation, and ensure scalability.
Network Routing and Security: Implement a Cisco router for PFX (likely prefix filtering or policy enforcement) to manage traffic efficiently, improve security, and maintain network integrity.
Connectivity and Management: Utilize 2 MikroTik devices to support network routing, load balancing, and network management for secondary or backup operations.
Surveillance Integration: Install around 150 cameras integrated into the network to provide comprehensive monitoring and enhance security protocols.

Mapped switch and router placement to optimize cabling and minimize signal loss.
Installed structured cabling across the facility to connect APs, cameras, switches, and routers.
Deployed cable trays and conduits to protect and organize cabling infrastructure.
Mounted APs and cameras at predetermined strategic locations.
Configured Cisco switches with VLANs to segment traffic and prioritize critical data.
Set up MikroTik devices for load balancing and failover support.
Programmed Cisco router with prefix filtering (PFX) policies for enhanced security and efficient routing.
Configured wireless SSIDs, security protocols (WPA3/WPA2), and guest networks.
Conducted extensive testing to verify AP signal strength and coverage.

This project represents a significant upgrade in the facility’s network and security infrastructure.
