Job Summary
Responsible for managing and assessing the financing customer applications received through branches, processing consumer financing applications, and communicating with branches and all other support departments on assessment, process, and completion of the consumer financing cycle. Contribute to the implementation of the credit/financing strategic plan of Consumer Banking and bank internal policies and underwriting procedures in support of the Bank’s credit and financial goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist and support the Consumer Financing Manager in all affairs related to consumer financing applications.
- Follow the annual goals of the branches according to the Consumer Banking credit plan and goals.
- Assist in guidance and training to other officers of the bank engaged in lending activities at the branches to ensure the smooth process and safety of the credit portfolio.
- Monitor the overall credit/financing process of the branches, including staff knowledge, process streamline, and targets vs achievements.
- Review, analyze, appraise, and process loans/financial applications.
- Review and analyze new, renewal, or extended cases of all loans considered for approval, with the exception of consumer loans.
- Review the monthly progress report and feedback from all branches.
- Review and monitor the branches' daily and weekly reports, ensuring that branches send their reports on time, and conduct review meetings with the Consumer Financing Manager and Head of CB to discuss the gaps and challenges branches are facing and find alternative solutions.
- Communicate with all back office and middle office departments and ensure that challenges branches are facing are solved based on internal SLA.
- Ensure that all credit proposals are properly submitted to back office departments for further processing.
- Ensure that Credit Committee guidelines concerning the administrative handling of specific transactions and credit facilities are implemented.
- Oversee the activities of the Consumer Financing unit of Consumer Banking in the absence of the Consumer Financing Manager.
- Responsible for credit products sales and marketing activities and customer visits on a need basis.
- Assist in credit collection and recovery follow-up processes.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Be able to be rotated to any other assigned task and location.
Job Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business/Finance (Master’s degree holder preferred).
- Relevant field certification (preferred).
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years’ experience in the banking sector / minimum 1 year of relevant field experience.

- Ability to read, understand, and analyze financial statements.
- Communication skills, analytical skills, understanding of financial/banking products and services.
- Proposal writing skills.
- Professional English writing skills.
- Advanced Excel/Credit Scoring skills.
- Negotiation and management skills.
