Job Description: Liaison and Legal Advisor

Job Summary

Selina Foods Processing and Production Company, a proudly Afghan-owned enterprise specializing in refined salt production, is looking for a qualified, committed, and dynamic Liaison and Legal Advisor to join our team. This key role will connect our external affairs with legal integrity across all levels of operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between the company and government institutions, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders.
• Represent the company in official meetings, negotiations, and regulatory consultations.
• Provide legal guidance on business contracts, labor laws, environmental and industrial compliance, and corporate governance.
• Draft, review, and manage legal documents, contracts, memorandums of understanding (MOUs), and correspondence with third parties.
• Monitor and ensure company compliance with all relevant Afghan laws, licenses, and industry regulations.
• Handle legal disputes, engage with legal entities, and assist in resolving issues in a lawful and strategic manner.
• Support senior management in policy development and foster internal legal awareness.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Law or a related field (a law license in Afghanistan is highly preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in legal advisory or liaison roles, preferably within the industrial, commercial, or government sectors.
• Strong understanding of Afghan commercial law, contract law, labor law, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Dari, Pashto, and English.
• Professional integrity, discretion, and strong problem-solving skills.
