Job Summary
The Enumerator will visit assigned locations, interact with pharmacies, and collect accurate and timely data for analysis and reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Survey Administration:
- Conduct interviews with assigned pharmacies to collect data on brands offered, reasons for not carrying ASMO brands, and the stocking and pricing of ASMO products and competitors.
- Ensure that survey forms are completed accurately and legibly, capturing all required information.
- Record data on paper or through electronic devices (e.g., tablets, smartphones) according to survey protocols.
- Data Collection:
- Gather quantitative and qualitative data regarding product pricing, inventory levels, supply chain factors, and customer behavior.
- Observe respondents' answers, mentally note them, and record the responses after completing the interview.
- Verify the accuracy of the information provided by respondents and address any discrepancies during the survey.
- Fieldwork and Reporting:
- Travel to assigned survey locations as per project requirements.
- Complete daily reports on survey activities, including the number of surveys conducted, challenges encountered, and overall progress.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of collected data, adhering to ethical standards and company guidelines.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Coordinate with supervisors, the M&E Officer, or the Sales Manager to ensure effective implementation of survey tasks.
- Provide feedback and recommendations based on observations during surveys.
- Respond to queries from respondents professionally to encourage accurate data collection.
- Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel within the assigned region or area.
- Flexibility in working hours, as surveys may need to be conducted at different times of the day.
- Knowledge of the local market or community is beneficial.
- Applicants must have an Android phone for daily recording and reporting of survey data.
Working Conditions
- Fieldwork: The enumerator will spend significant time traveling and working outdoors or in various retail or business environments.
- Hours: Survey hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare education, or relevant coursework.
- Pharmaceutical education is a plus.
Experience:
- Previous experience in survey data collection, fieldwork, or market research is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with basic market research methodologies and survey tools.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to collect data accurately.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
