Job Description

Position: TFU Nurse Assistant

Responsibilities:

Preparation and Distribution of Formula Milks:

• Prepare and distribute formula milks (F 75, F 100, F100D, and RUTF) and Resomal to the admitted children in the TFU according to the IMAM guidelines/standard protocols.
• Support the caretakers on care practices.

Reporting to the Nurse:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and submit them to the supervisor on time.
• Participate in technical orientation sessions for other health personnel in the center.
• Communicate any challenges faced during service provision to the line manager.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Uphold CARE’s Safeguarding Policy and Safeguarding Code of Conduct.
• Must read the Safeguarding Policy and either sign the Safeguarding Code of Conduct or sign a Code of Conduct that is consistent with or references this policy and Safeguarding Code of Conduct.

Safety and Security Responsibility:

Job Requirements

• Education: Graduated from nursing, Community Nursing Education Program, and/or has a nutrition diploma from a recognized institute. IPD SAM training is required.
• Language Skills: Fluency in spoken and written Dari and Pashto is a requirement.
• Experience: The candidate must have at least one to two years of relevant work experience in BPHS-related health facilities.
