Job Summary

Overview:
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, providing visionary leadership across all HR functions. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can balance business priorities with a people-centric approach, drive cultural transformation, and lead large-scale HR initiatives in a multinational environment.

This is an opportunity for a seasoned HR leader capable of designing, developing, and executing strategic HR initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, workforce productivity, and employee engagement in alignment with business goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership & Business Alignment

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s vision, business objectives, and growth plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, ensuring HR strategies drive business transformation and organizational success.
  • Drive workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
  • Lead the HR transformation journey, implementing industry-leading best practices in talent management, employee experience, and organizational development.

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Design and execute a talent acquisition strategy, ensuring the attraction, selection, and retention of top-tier professionals.
  • Strengthen the employer brand, positioning the company as an employer of choice in the telecommunications industry.
  • Implement robust diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs to promote a culture of respect and equal opportunity.

Training, Learning & Development

  • Develop and oversee a corporate learning and development strategy, ensuring employees acquire critical skills for business success.
  • Design and implement leadership development programs to strengthen managerial capabilities and prepare future-ready leaders.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify training needs, develop tailored learning solutions, and track training effectiveness.
  • Lead digital learning initiatives, incorporating e-learning, AI-driven training platforms, and blended learning models.
  • Establish a culture of continuous learning and professional development, ensuring employees have access to career-enhancing opportunities.

Organizational Development & Change Management

  • Lead organizational development (OD) initiatives, ensuring alignment with business transformation and growth objectives.
  • Design and implement change management strategies to support company-wide transformations, restructuring, and mergers/acquisitions.
  • Conduct organizational diagnostics to assess culture, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and drive succession planning programs, ensuring a strong leadership pipeline across all levels.
  • Implement HR analytics and workforce planning models to optimize organizational structure and agility.

Performance Management & Employee Engagement

  • Develop and enhance a high-performance culture, ensuring alignment between individual goals and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the performance management framework, ensuring a fair, transparent, and merit-based evaluation system.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, driving motivation, satisfaction, and organizational commitment at all levels.
  • Conduct employee pulse surveys and implement initiatives to address feedback and enhance workplace experience.

HR Digitalization & Process Optimization

  • Drive HR digital transformation, leveraging HR analytics, AI, and automation to enhance HR service delivery.
  • Implement HRIS and data-driven HR decision-making to improve workforce planning and operational efficiency.
  • Streamline HR policies, procedures, and processes to foster agility and scalability.

Compensation, Benefits & Total Rewards

  • Design and oversee a competitive total rewards strategy, ensuring market-aligned compensation and benefits structures.
  • Partner with finance and business leaders to manage HR budgets, ensuring cost-effective and value-driven HR investments.
  • Enhance employee well-being programs, including health, financial, and career development benefits.

Regulatory Compliance & Corporate Governance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and industry best practices across multiple geographies.
  • Serve as a liaison with legal teams to manage employee relations, labor disputes, and corporate governance matters.
  • Oversee HR risk management, ensuring policies and practices align with corporate ethics and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Management & Culture Building

  • Act as the culture champion, driving organizational values and reinforcing a positive, high-trust workplace culture.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (executive leadership, department heads, employees) and external partners (regulatory bodies, industry associations, consultants, and recruitment firms).

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
    • Strong background in the telecommunications, technology, or multinational corporate sectors preferred.
    • Proven experience in leading large HR teams and managing complex, multi-country HR operations.
    • Deep expertise in HR strategy, talent management, organizational development, and HR digitalization.
