Job Summary
Refah Al Alami Company is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial health and sustainability of the organization. The Finance Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and risk management. This role is critical in driving the company’s financial strategy, supporting business growth, and ensuring sound financial practices.
Duties & Responsibilities
Banking & Financial Operations:
· Manage day-to-day banking activities, including fund transfers, reconciliations, and bank relationship management.
· Oversee accounts payable and receivable, treasury functions, and cash flow operations.
· Optimize liquidity management to ensure operational efficiency.
· Coordinate with banks for credit facilities, loans, and other financial services.
· Ensure timely settlement of obligations and effective cash handling practices.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
· Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models in alignment with strategic goals.
· Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights on performance gaps.
· Monitor KPIs and prepare dashboards for executive decision-making.
· Evaluate new investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and cost-saving initiatives.
· Support strategic planning through scenario analysis and business case evaluations.
Compliance & Risk Management:
· Ensure compliance with local and international financial laws, regulations, and tax obligations.
· Implement internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks.
· Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) and regulatory bodies.
· Identify, assess, and report on financial and operational risks.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting financial practices.
Reporting & Documentation:
· Prepare and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and board-level summaries.
· Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
· Maintain complete and accurate financial records for audit readiness.
· Develop standardized templates and documentation for financial processes and reporting.
· Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from senior management and stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Automation:
· Identify inefficiencies in current financial processes and recommend improvements.
· Drive automation of financial reporting and operational workflows using ERP and financial tools.
· Lead system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives within the finance department.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline budgeting, procurement, and payment processes.
· Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Job Requirements
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s or MBA preferred).
· Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Experience:
· Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· Solid understanding of corporate finance, accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial systems.
· Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel modeling.
Technical Skills:
· Financial modeling and forecasting.
· Budgeting and variance analysis.
· Accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
· ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Odoo).
· Advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
· Taxation and compliance reporting.
· Cash flow and treasury management.
