افغان تیلی کام در 13 ستامبر سال 2005 میلادی به حیث یک شرکت مکمل مخابراتی عرض وجود نمود. شرکت افغان تیلی کام در بدو تأسیس به یگانه شرکت که خدمات موبائیل GSM/3G سلام ، خدمات فایبرنوری ، خدمات تلیفون های دیجیتال لیندار، خدمات انترنیت DSL ، خدمات انترنت وایکمس ، خدمات انترنت Dial Up و خدمات VCN را در سطح کشور تهیه میدارد مبدل ګردیده است. علاوه برین، افغان تیلی کام یگانه شرکت مخابراتی است که شبکه مخابراتی تمامی دوایر دولتی بشمول تمام وزارت خانه ها و سایر دفاتر دولتی را تهیه میدارد که شامل خدمات مخابرۀ صوتی، انترنت و سهولت ویدو کانفرانس برای این دوایر میباشد و فعالیت مخابراتی شرکت افغان تیلی کام نیز از جانب وزارت مخابرات دولت جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان تصویب گردیده است. افغان تیلی کام 155 شهر های کوچک و بزرگ و 34 ولایت کشور را تحت پوشش قرار داده و به زودی تمامی 355 ولسوالی های کشور را نیز تحت پوشش قرارخواهد داد.

Job Description: Telecom Operations Specialist

Job Summary

The incumbent should possess a comprehensive understanding of telecom and IN/operations. They must have a creative mindset and the capability to manage day-to-day and periodic operations to support business requirements. The role requires the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, experience with multiple technologies on the same platform, and proficiency in syncing, reading, updating, and deleting data across various databases and servers. Timely and weekly reporting to direct managers is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Service Monitoring:
  Check all IN/SIU, Web server OAM nodes, and other clients to ensure services are operational.
• Problem Detection:
  Detect and troubleshoot problems related to IN/SIU and Web server OAM nodes, reporting findings to management with proper root cause analysis.
• Technical Support:
  Handle technical queries and management requirements for IN/SIU and Web server OAM, escalating issues to R&D for analysis and resolution.
• Software & Hardware Inspection:
  Inspect IN/SIU and Web server OAM software and hardware, performing various upgrades and configurations.
• New Product Creation:
  Create new products in USSD, IVR, and VC.
• Reporting:
  Prepare various reports using reporting tools and SQL.
• Patch Management:
  Upload different patches into the IN/SIU system as provided by the vendor.
• Integration Support:
  Support other network elements (NE) for integration.
• System Checks:
  Regularly check the operational status of all IN/SIU systems.
• Database Operations:
  Perform queries, insert, update, and delete operations in PL/SQL.
• Database Management:
  Manage database objects such as tables, indexes, constraints, and relationships.
• Data Initiatives Support:
  Support data migration, transformation, and integration initiatives.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions.

Technical Knowledge:

• Good understanding of telecom equipment.
• Experience with databases, Oracle, Linux, charging systems, and NGIN is required.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant area.
• At least 1 year of experience with Oracle DB and Linux.
• Knowledge of SS7 signaling (SIGTRAN, BICC).
• Familiarity with programming languages like MML and XML.
• Expertise in Core IN/SIU network components, interfaces, and diagrams.
• Understanding of Diameter protocol, SLP, M3UA, SCCP, CAPs, SIP, SS7, TCP, E1, and Sigtran, with the ability to analyze traces.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c).
• Experience with 3rd party integration for IVR and USSD.
• Good understanding of telecom equipment.
• Proficient in SQL Oracle DB, SQL queries, and scripting.
• Understanding of Oracle tools like SQL*Plus and SQL Developer.
• Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux OS, and scripting.
