Job Summary

 

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee and manage Transmission Line, Substation, and Solar Power Plant projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires expertise in managing multiple large-scale electrical infrastructure projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring project objectives are met while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

- Lead and manage all aspects of Transmission Line, Substation, and Solar Power Plant projects from initiation to closure.

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.

- Coordinate and supervise on-site project activities to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and standards.

- Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.

- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives.

- Ensure that all projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.

- Manage project risks, issue mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive problem-solving.

- Regularly report project status to senior management and stakeholders, providing accurate updates on progress, risks, and financial status.

- Foster strong communication channels with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

- Ensure efficient resource utilization, managing project personnel, equipment, and materials.

- Oversee project documentation, including contracts, schedules, progress reports, and change orders.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management processes.

 

Job Requirements

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in Transmission Line, Substation, and Solar Power Plant projects.

- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.

- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, project management principles, and construction best practices.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, PVSYT etc.).

- Familiarity with local and international regulations, safety, and environmental requirements for electrical infrastructure projects.

- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
