Summary
The Community/Social Mobilizer is reportable to the Master Trainer/DC. The following items are the main responsibilities:
Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Monitoring of GPE classes regularly.
- Monitoring of GPE teachers' teaching process regularly.
- Cooperation with GPE teachers in making local teaching materials, lesson plans, student hygiene, management of class and school, and physical environment of the school.
- Checking education materials sent through the logistics unit and reporting to the related unit.
- Control of attendance of teachers and students.
- Filling of the logbook of education materials and distribution of them to students.
- Taking part in SMS meetings every month.
- Encouragement of SMS members to participate in school management, security of the school, cooperation in students’ attendance, and cooperation in school building and construction.
- Jointly visiting with DED members from GPE classes.
- Conducting training if needed.
- Follow up on ASAS numbers for newly enrolled students.
- Follow-up on student results.
- Follow up on handover, integration, and upgrading of GPE classes.
- Follow-up on the findings of the land for school construction.
- Monitoring of the related Hub school and Resource center.
- Taking part in education training, if needed, and facilitating some training for teachers and SMS members.
- Evaluation of the quality of learning of students.
- Other related tasks assigned by the related GPE Senior Officer or Education Manager.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, Education, or 14 Grade with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in similar positions with national and/or international NGOs.
- Required Languages: Excellent Pashto and Dari reading, writing, and verbal skills; good in English reading, writing, and verbal skills.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of social and behavior change theories and methodologies.
- Proven experience in community engagement and participatory approaches.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Travel:
- The position will be based in Kunduz, with frequent travel to the districts.
- Residents of related districts are encouraged to apply for this position.
- The Social Mobilizer is required to have their transportation/motorbike; the office will pay for fuel.
- The Social Mobilizer is required to have a smartphone for ODK purposes.

WDIO is nationally based in Kabul and maintains field operations through five regional offices, with over ninety-seven staff members, located in Kabul, Bamiyan & Logar (Center-Region), Ghor & Herat (West-Region), Nangarhar, Laghman & Kunar (East-region), Takhar & Badakhshan (North-Region) and Kandahar (South-Region).
