Job Description: Customer Services Officer

Job Summary

The Customer Services Officer is responsible for providing excellent customer service for the bank’s clients by processing transactions accurately and on time, answering inquiries, guiding customers on various bank products, cross-selling products, and building rapport with customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that customers receive excellent service by providing quick and accurate information and processing requests efficiently.
  2. Client Identification: Ensure proper client identifications are obtained.
  3. Account Management: Verify account opening and closing processes.
  4. Form Assistance: Assess bank clients and guide them in filling out required forms and applications.
  5. Product Promotion: Communicate to promote various bank products to clients.
  6. Document Handling: Provide needed documents and review files to ensure all documents are completed.
  7. Issue Resolution: Handle or resolve client concerns and inquiries to ensure the highest possible client satisfaction.
  8. Community Representation: Promote the bank’s image in the community.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  1. Education: High School Graduate; a university degree will be preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a banking environment.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  4. Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
  5. Language Skills: Good communication skills both oral and written in Dari, Pashto, and English.
  6. Computer Literacy: Familiarity with computer programs (Office package).
  7. Team Player: Ability to work as part of a team and under stress.
