Storekeeper (Re-announced)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Storekeeper to join our project team in Kandahar & Zabul (Qalat). The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with EPC companies, specifically in transmission line and substation projects. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing site store operations, including the receipt, storage, dispatch, and inventory control of all materials and equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

1.      Equipment and Supplies Management:

·       Ensure that equipment and supplies placed in the warehouse are kept safe and in good condition.

2.      Inventory Records:

·       Maintain accurate and proper inventory records.

3.      Incoming Materials Check:

·       Check and document incoming materials for accuracy between delivery and invoicing.

4.      Order Management:

·       Receive orders and issue supplies and materials as appropriate.

5.      Stock Management:

·       List all items currently in the warehouse and maintain records of all outgoing and incoming items in stock books. Calculate, record, and show the balance of all items in the store on a day-to-day basis.

6.      Item Organization:

·       Keep existing items in the store in proper itemized order. Prepare a list of relevant items for easy reference and inventory.

7.      Quality Control:

·       Control the quality of equipment and needed items inside and outside the store.

8.      Fixed Assets Care:

·       Take care of fixed assets and advise staff on proper use and handling of the assets.

9.      Additional Tasks:

·       Perform any other tasks requested by the competent authority.

Job Requirements

·       Education:

·       High School diploma (Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Computer Science preferred).

·       Experience:

·       5 years of experience in general supply, warehousing, storekeeping, and inventory control.

·       Knowledge:

·       Excellent knowledge of supply, warehousing, and inventory practices.

·       Good knowledge of computer operations and skills in the use of office software.
